I have seen stink bugs galore. The screens in my house were covered with them. I have not noticed too many more spiders but, now that you ask I have seen more than normal.

We have many more grasshoppers here also. I got a good laugh yesterday. I watched one of my hens chasing one all over the driveway. She caught it too.

Around here we call it the Spider Karate Dance, and you are lucky if you don't knock yourself out. Just last night ran to the garage, and between end of porch and a tree, I have to pass thru, was a huge spider web, course, could not see it in the near dark and drizzleling rain, but then you get the heebeejeebees, and you karate chop your way thru, while dancing in the rain, and feeling like there must be 20 spiders all over you now. eewwwhhh-I terribley dislike spiders. Course they do get the heart pumping, and put a little dance in your step. Amazing how others enjoy your screaming, dancing karate fighting dance. My hubby was laughing at me. Couldn't even look to see if it was on me. urrgh! All in a days fun? Farmgirl #946 Linda

Yes! Oh my GOSH, yes! And they're sporting bigger attitudes, cigars and machine guns, too! LOL! I almost passed out when I opened the mail basket yesterday and a HUGE wolf spider crawled up the letters. I screamed so loud and did more than a dance, believe me. My son laughed so hard he had tears in his eyes! And, like Marly, we've got a lot of big, black ants, too. Yuck-o.

Yes! Sooo gross! They are attracted to my front porch for some reason. Looking forward to winter and hoping they will die off. Eww!

Yes, they're everywhere and biting in the night. I've had them in all the same places as you, the shower, tub, in every corner and swinging from the ceiling. We have cedar paneling and the webs stick to it like glue. I guess they had to search for water earlier this year searching for relief from the drought and found a great place to stay. To add to the misery. mosquitoes have made it impossible to sit outside on the deck, day or night.

"I've wept in the night for the shortness of sight that to someone's needs I've been blind; but I've yet to feel a twinge of regret for being a little too kind."
