Hi Tasha,
I love this site - thanks! I really believe in the wisdom of the elders. My grandfather passed away recently and we miss him so much. He was a very learned man and wrote and colloborated on books until his death. At his funeral, people turned up that we didn't even know he was working with - a girl from a university in another city that Pa was her PhD mentor, so many people from the publishing world, old army buddies (he was in Changi Prison Camp during WWII). At every dinner, he was always telling us little stories and you don't realise how you enjoyed them until he was gone.
As an aside, my maiden name was Elder, so my dad is always saying that we should listen to our Élders'!!
Best wishes,
Jayne
