Hi Girls!

My heart was blessed today. I just have to share:

One of the little girls I babysat for last school year (now a much taller seven years old) stopped by just to say "hello" today. My husband is working with her dad over at their house installing a pool, and she has been wanting to come over to hang out with me, have a little snack, play with my Barbie Doll House (Yes - I've got one for the little girls in my life to play with!), and to just chat about life as little girls like to do. She suddenly popped in through my back door, ran up, gave me a big hug and hearty "Hi-iiiii! I've missed you SO much!," smiled, closed her eyes, took in a deep breath, sighed and said, "Oh, how I've missed the smell of your house!" Isn't that the sweetest thing?! Make my day! I just love that she and her big sister (now a much more grown up 13 years old) enjoy spending time with me - they fill a special part of my heart that really needed fillin'! SUCH delightful girls! :)

I've got pizza dough rising in the kitchen... I simply can't wait for 6:00 - they'll be back donning their aprons (A la CJ - thank you very much!) to make pizza with me... flour will be everywhere... pepperoni will suddenly disappear... giggles will abound... I can't think of a better way to spend the evening tonight!

Thank Heaven for little girls! :)

Happy Weekend!

Hugs -

Nini

Nini that is sweet. If she ran into my home and took a deep breath she would start sneezing from all the dust she would get up her nose!!lol. My 13 yr old son was looking at the pet section of the want ads this week and started laughing. He told his sister"Someone is selling a toy poodle for $100. It isnt even real. Its a toy!" The moments to remember.

Awww!

You sound like the kind of neighborhood mom I aspire to be. I always hear people talk about when they were little and the ladies that would open their homes to the friends their kids would bring home, and it makes me want to be that *cool* mom.
