Hey ladies! It's been a long time, but someone posted in our Michigan farmgirls thread and I got a notice to my inbox and realized I have been away FAR too long. I miss you all! As I explained in that thread, it has been one crazy year for us, but things are looking to finally settle down for us soon. We are moving to our very own farmhouse in a few short weeks. Finally! We have been renting since we moved to Michigan 5 years ago and we are finally going to have our own home. The home is 102 years old, but has had quite a facelift, so she is looking pretty good for such an old gal. I can't wait to post pictures. Everything about the home is already exactly as I would have it myself. I would not be surprised if the owner was a MJF subscriber...LOL....It's on 2 beautiful acres with a veggie garden and several flower and herb gardens and fruit trees and berry bushes (including currants, which I have never had before....any recipes would be greatly appreciated....maybe some currant jelly?)! I can't wait to get my hands dirty!! We will be continuing in our homeschool adventure with one 2nd grader and a kindergartner next year AND we are expecting our fourth child in early December. So, busy year ahead of me still, but hopefully I will be able to make time to come on here and chat with my farmgirls. I miss you all dearly. Anyways.....HI!!!

Hey All, thanks for the warm re-welcome! :)

Diane, we will find out what we are having on the 16th. I can't wait. I'm pretty sure it's another little boy because we seem to be really good at making those, but I will be thrilled whatever it is. I just want to know so I can start planning and preparing.

Siobhan,
We have definately missed you! Especially your beautiful prayers. I have still been keeping track of you on Facebook and am so excited for your home purchase and 4th baby! Did you find out the sex yet? I sure hope it is a little farmgirl, but another little boy would be a blessing too. Welcome back my Farmgirl Friend!

I am trying to be the person my dogs think I am.

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

Welcome back, and glad to meet you. I am from the U.P. and joined here last July, not quite a year yet. Congrats on the new baby on the way, and best of luck to you. Looking forward to getting to know you better.
