yesterday started like any other farm morning. coffee birds singing then on to filing unemployment week and starting chores. so i read that our benefits end in 11 weeks. so income will change. we go and start chores. papa and i consult on cash flow or the lack of funds now lots of folks are struggling right now. many have been where we are. personally it hurts. so we had a can of quarters $7.00 and the hope of milk sales. i needed 2 meds filled. we both needed gas. we needed to pick up 2 hog racks we live one day at a time here. in the moment this was scarey. i started to pray to Jehovah for the power of God to excel all thought so papa went to get the produce bins from the store. we had just paid our last %750.00 on repairs. a bit later i look up and he is walking in the drive so truck and trailer fully loaded broke down. i said satan get behind me NOW. in the past i would have melted into a puddle of tears. not this time. so many folks have it hard right now. i prayed harder for Jehovah to help me hold up and get done what was ahead. i was needing to tow the truck and trailer hooked to it home. not my strong point. (towing anything) on the way back i am thinking we have milk and egg sales and i could sell some beef and how can i come up with $100.00 in a few hours? we needed stock feed. as i pull in the drive way my FRIEND came driving in the driveway. helen and i rescue animals. she does goats and i jerseys and any. LOL please note NO ONE knew we needed that money. we only talked to Jehovah. i said helen whats up. she said God said you needed this. IT WAS A $100.00 ROLLED UP. i was so humbled i cried on her shoulder. she said well it is not much. i said its a thousand bucks to me. i could get my pain meds and gas and food for the day. after she left i looked at papa and grabed his shirt. i said the power of Jehovah and prayer. he always makes a way out.

S next day a young family came for milk. they are wonderful folks. they have a love for God and a sweet baby boy. they have always overpaid for their milk and eggs. well they ask if i had any bones they could use for soup. they were going to spend their last $25.00 on milk. no check coming till the first of july. i went to the greezer and pulled 14 pounds of beef. i gave them their beef milk and eggs. he started to tear up. i was so moved. i told him if he wanted he could come wead whack for me for more food. he would not take any more free. so he will be here sunday. they are so happy to be able to work for their liquid gold. which is my milk i will continue to pay it forward. i was raised sharing and knowing it takes a village. i hope this brings a smile and a tear. for God is all about good. happy days to you

God IS good, Sherry! What a wonderful story to read!

A beautiful testimony! We spent about nine months on unemployment a couple of years ago. My hubby who is a retired Marine (OH RAH, its the law, I have to say it) worked at a company six days a week for 11 years. He never took a vacation. When we finally did, they had him train a guy who was to cover for him while we were gone for a week. We came back and hubby was let go. Imagine, training the man who was going to replace you because you were being let go...

God is good, we never went without, paid our tithes, and had our bills met. Whats amazing to me is that now that we are making more than we did on unemployment, we seem to have less...

Being out of work was the best thing that happened to my family. It brought us together in so many ways. My hubby got to see what I did on a daily basis, he had all day to spend with our grandsons and was more available for his church duties (he's a trustee but is now a "walking deacon")

After I kicked the devil out and reminded myself that God was in control I never had a sleepless night. So much peace! I want to do a praise dance every time I hear about His goodness!

I'm so happy for you, that God placed just the right people in your lives that could bless you and that you were able to bless. A closed hand can't receive anything but an open hand can't contain all the blessings God has in store!

Searching for a more simply life for me and my clan!
