I've been working in polymer clay for years. One of my most favorite things to make out of the clay is 'Fairy Doors'. I've traded some, I've given some away, but I have never had a drawing for one...until now...

All of my doors are completely hand made and one of a kind. This one stands about four by four inches and will fit against a wall quite nicely. And who knows, maybe this little door will convince a sparkling little fairy to reside in your home.

If anyone is interested, please leave your name below. Sign ups will be until Wednesday. I'll draw a name Wednesday night and then I will get the door out in the mail to the winner on Thursday morning.

sending everyone warm hugs
Marcy

Wow! Thanks for all of the wonderful compliments. The clay is much easier to work with than it looks, it's just time consuming.
CJ, thank you my wonderful farm girl sister for saying such a nice thing. Now, you know that I just have to say something about your beautiful aprons :-) Girls, if you are looking for the nicest and prettiest aprons around, you have to get one from CJ. I was lucky to swap for one and it is so well made and so pretty that I cannot bring myself to use it. This might sound a bit silly, but I hung my apron on the back of my craft room door as a decoration and there it is going to stay. Will be drawing a name on Wednesday and I will post who won the door as soon as possble. I wish that I could make one for each of you. I have a few more doors that I am working on and will be having another drawing soon.

*WINNER*

I wish that I could send one to every one of you. I put the names into a bowl and I picked a name (with my eyes closed, lol!!) BLESSED IN COLORADO is the winner! Debbie, please send me your address and I will ship your door out first thing tomorrow morning.
Now that I know there is an interest for them, I will be having a few more give aways. Thanks again for all of the compliments.
hugs

Debbie,
Sent your door out first thing this morning. It should be there in a few days. I so hope that you like it.
hugs

Finally after a few weeks, I have placed my fairy door in it's permanent home. What do you think? See my Jim Shore sewing fairy next to her new door, she is so happy to have a way to and from now where she wishes to go.
Thank you again Marcy I love it.
Hugs,
Debbie

Oh my goodness! What talent! Your fairy doors are SO cute (and I loved the bunny too.) I'm overwhelmed just now but sometime in the future I'd love to have you make one for my 10yo grandgirl. Fairies are VERY special to us. I'll be back to your blog. Thanks. Joey

Hi Joey,

I haven't sold one yet, but I have traded a few. I'm always open for a trade and I like a lot of things. I have different kinds of doors made up of different shapes and colors on my blog if you want to take a peek.

hugs

Emily, I have always had "fairy day" with my grandgirls. It's June 21..the longest day of the year. We spend a little time over the year putting things away for the fairies..like bottle caps and small pieces of ribbon or shiny foil, etc. and that night we put it out in the yard with great ceremony for the fairies. By morning the pail we put the things in has returned to the porch with a note and a little gift from the fairies. This is not my original idea. I read it in a book somewhere and just decided to do it. We've done it every year. They, of course, have no idea and it has been such fun. Joey

I would love that beautiful door. My girls are 2 and 5 and are always looking for fairy signs. Last weekend we went camping and found the fairy slipper flowers and my 5 year old kept looking for the slipper's mate comment on how the fairies weren't very good about putting their slippers away together. It was such fun. I I happen to be your very lucky winner it will probably end up on our front porch letting the fairies in our house. What a cool skill you have.
