The 2nd Annual No Coast Craft-O-Rama is scheduled for Saturday, December 2 from 9am-7pm in the Midtown Global Exchange (old Sears Tower) in Minneapolis.

THIS CRAFT FAIR MUST NOT BE MISSED!

I went last year and it was so cool. A perfect blend of cool, hip, vintage, traditional and wild crafts. And full of good vibes...oh we had so much fun last year!

The Urban Farmgirls are planning to go as a group this year. If any other Minnesota Farmgirls plan to be there, let me know and we can hook up!

Connie, it was recently on the news.....

I am not sure why that is the case, but I am glad I lived the way I do and that I live here.

I've never heard that about Minnesota, but I did meet two folks this week who each had a grandma over 90. That's pretty neat, I'd say!

Connie, I like to think there *are* still a lot of folks who follow the lifestyle you describe who live here. I love living in Minnesota!

Hey Farm Girls!!!

I read a survey the other day that indicated that folks in Hawaii have the longest lifespan in the US and that Minnesota was #2.

Why do you think that this is the case?

I am guessing that it is that a lot of folks in Minnesota still follow so-called old-fashioned values of good nutrition, spending time outside, love of family and friend etc.

Will look forward to your comments.

(Texas was #40 on the list--rather alarming)

There is also a craft fair in Pequot Lakes and Nisswa this weekend. Sorry, I haven't a link.
