I just received our U.S. Passport cards in the mail today for an upcoming trip to Canada...and the pictures are so bad, I'm not sure they are going to let us into Canada let alone let us back into the U.S.! LOL! Has anyone else ever experienced crazy bad passport pics?? So bad, they're actually FUNNY!!?

My passport photo is not great, but not outrageously bad either. It does make me smile because getting the passports was a funny experience. We put the wrong date for our marriage on the applications. My husband had it right, and I was sure it was one day later. He decided to take my word for it and now I'll never live this one down! In my defense, the day after our anniversary is my sister's birthday so I just had the two important dates reversed. But it's a good joke on me. My husband tells me I can never complain if he forgets our anniversary because I don't even know when it is.

I crack up every time I look at mine. I have my hair pulled back and am all slicked up...it makes me look like a spy or something! LOL! So I just pretend I'm a secret agent. It makes traveling even more fun!!! Hee Hee!

On my original passport my photo was AWFUL . . . I thought it looked like a "mug shot". On the renewal passport it's better. We had the 2nd ones taken at the post office by a guy who was actually helpful and cared.

My DL . . . pic there is pretty good because the guy in the office made me laugh at the time.

My passport photo looks fine. But, like Michele, I am unrecognizable in my DL. I had still been coloring my hair and it was shoulder length at the time. I now wear my hair very short so that I can finger style it and keep it messy and it is VERY gray. I do get a few double takes but not as many as I should. I mean, it really doesn't look like me.

Oh no, Melina! Y'know, I'm sure all our photos aren't really as bad as we think they are! LOL

I know what you mean. My passport photo looks like my nose is really crooked. I was coming back from BC once with two exchange students a few years ago and the customs agent asked me to turn my head both ways to make sure it was really me.

not a passport by last drivers lic was really bad...I had been working in the garden, sweaty & remembered I had to get my driver's lic renewed so off I went...I had super short hear so when the photo was taken I looked like an old man...the girl felt so bad she said she'd do another one for me...I told her" honey, its not going to improve so don't worry about it...plus its so bad no one will want to steal it".....needless to say I had to live with that pic until it got renewed & no one ever was mean enough to say it wasn't me!...lol....Michele'
