One dd is down to a cough, another dd is in bed and running a fever (and the doctor claims she doesn't know what she has but gave her antibiotics - grr! ...looking for a new doctor), and now ds is in bed sick. My throat hurts badly, so I plan to gargle salt water today.

With ds down, I'll be out and about with farm chores. Peanut still has not gone into labor, and I have to check her every hour or less.

I hope you are all staying healthy. This crazy weather isn't helping either.

Have a blessed day!

Today my 10 year old is all stuffed up. We cut some of the grass last night, so it may be allergies.

My 12 year-old his home sick today too.

Hopefully we will all be well soon. I hope my natural allergy meds arrive soon. We need it much earlier this year.

Kristina,

I hope all are on the mend. I can relate to being grouchy when ill.
I try not to be, but then the next thing you know, I am snapping
off a loved ones head. Thank goodness they are forgiving, and
more; I am thankful for God's grace. I am certain, He would not
be very favorable with my grumpiness.

You take care of the family and yourself. Prayers of healing
coming your way.

Bless you farmister and your family.

Deborah H.

18 yo dd got it the worst.

I'm on the mend, but had to order a natural med. for my allergies. I can't buy allergy meds at the prices they have now. And I don't do well with meds anyway - blech.

I can't wait to try the natural remedy.

Thanks for all your kind words.

I got back up to check on Peanut (goat), but she's not in labor yet. DS is at a University for a appt. so all on the home front is up to me to take care of this morning.

I'm my family's worst enemy right now.....cranky, irritable and downright grouchy. I get that way when I'm sick. Plus with the power out yesterday, the dishes were not washed and the kitchen is a mess (no electric - no running water). Clutter always makes me irritable anyway.

I guess they better keep their germs to themselves next time, ha ha ha!

I really want chicken noodle soup, but don't want to make it myself. If dh calls, I'm going to do the unthinkable (ha ha!), and ask him to pick up restaurant made chicken noodle soup. Nothing else sounds good.

Thanks for all your kind words. This virus, or whatever it is, is nasty this time around.

So sorry you are all down with the germs! Everyone should be gargling with salt water, it will help with the cough, sore throat and an other germs trying to live in there. Keep hydrated and keep eating good stuff.

God bless,

Oh Kristina,
You certainly have had much more than your share of sickness this year. I am sending prayers for a quick recovery for all of you. I hope that you all feel better and that everything goes well with Peanut. Unfortunately there is no rest for the weary sometimes.
Feel better!
Hugs,

Sounds miserable. Hope you can delay your illness until you get everyone else back on their feet.

Its definitely going around. I was sick for two weeks with a sinus infection caused by a cold. When I went to student health services, there were a ton of people in there. Take care of everybody and eat lots of veggies and soup!

It must be going around. I was supposed to substitute at the local High School today and I had to call in sick. I can not breath and feel just awful. Hope all of you and yours are better soon.

Wow, get well soon! Seconding the vitamin C, and some comfort food/soup would not be amiss!

A hook, a book, and a good cup of coffee....
