Posted - Mar 02 2012 : 04:41:36 AM I hear that this is one of the best books for canning info. I wouldn't know since I don't can. But if you do its part of my drawing on my site if you want a chance to have it. I used to help can when I lived at home, but Grandma used to just whip though it so fast I missed what was happening, or maybe at that age I wasn't that interested.I used to do a lot of the prep work, you know sitting on the back porch getting vegs ready. So if you want to learn how to can or just refresh your memory the book is part of my Blue drawing on my site, the winner will be picked Sat evening Mar 3rd.

Posted - Mar 02 2012 : 11:25:23 AM Yes the Blue Book is the best-I have used it for years when canning! I bought one for my daughter so she can start also! Wouldn't be without it!
