We were supposed to get a huge snowstorm last night, dump a lot of snow and generally create havoc.

This morning, I got up, peeked out of the window, expecting to see drifts....and, nothing much. Bare ground in some places! The wind blew too hard. It looks like about an inch or two.

Today and tomorrow are supposed to be 'bad' too. Yeah, right!!

Hope I don't have to eat those words!!

Thanks, Sherry!

Looked out this morning from upstairs...and nothing much. Did finally get about 3 inches. Whoopie. Now the sun is shining like a Spring day. So bright, I have the drapes closed!

I will say, the draw looks absolutely gorgeous this morning!! The blue sky, white snow, mountains and then the trees. Wow. Almost breathtaking!!

Reminds me, I should get a picture!!

Yes, we got dumped on too, over a foot yesterday and a couple inches overnight. Schools were closed yesterday and again today. The wet heavy snow!!! BUT we needed that before we can officially have spring!!!

Yesterday, the 'big snow' threatened all day. To the west of us is a big draw and periodically we couldn't see the mountain. Hubby would say it was coming, it was coming. The wind would blow the teensy flakes almost horizontally and then....nothing...poof. Sun would come out and shine brilliantly. Then, it would wind up again and start all over. The big storms here are a big yawn. The bugs are gonna be really bad this summer!!

We got a TON of snow. 16" of snow landed in less thatn 24 hours. It took 5 of us to get the cars unburied and the driveway plowed out. Everything was shut down. Nobody went to work or school. No phone service, internet service and the t.v. dish was buried alive.........

Or you could have had the tornados in Ill, Mo, or Ark, that caused death and destruction, I love rain and snow, but a blizzard or major snowed in conditions, not so much...

Heh, yeah...a friend of mine yesterday said we had a huge blizzard coming. Instead, we had a pretty huge RAIN. It's actually pretty warm today, although it is flurry-ing lightly.

I still mind the weather report, but this year it just seems like suggestions....

I'd consider myself pretty lucky, if I were you, Winona. Friends and family have REALLY been suffering with snow this year! I hope today and tomorrow prove just as good for you, too! :) - Nini
