My husband got home from work at 7 am this morning and is looking forward to three days off. This was our conversation this morning, which I thought my fellow farmgirls would appreciate:

Him: (as he's getting in bed; he sleeps days) Good night, my beautiful wife.
Me: You're silly.
Him: What. You *are* beautiful.
Me: Well... (being shy) there's alot of lovely ladies out there in the world. (then referencing a conversation we had a couple days ago...)Lots of gals out there who wear cool clothes like skinny jeans with long boots.
Him: You have a nice pair of boots, you know.
Me: Me? Not that come up to my knees.
Him: Yes you do. Your mud boots. And I think you look mighty fine in them. :)

I love that man!

Where can I get one like that?

Do I have to special order one?
farmmilkmama Posted - Feb 09 2012 : 08:21:36 AM
Yes, I think I will definitely keep him. He's a sweet heart and can always make me laugh! :) I just busted a gut when he started talking about how I can rock out a pair of mud boots. There's a farm man for ya! :)
