When Wilma called and told me to bring the truck, she had a surprise for me, she sure wasn't kidding!!! Look at this wonderful potting table her dh, Sterl made and she painted!

The sink inside is an American Standard nice deep one and is dated June 30, 1945!

My old farmhouse sink in our farm house is American Standard. In fact, all the fixtures are. They had a large manufacturing plant in Louisville.
The table is all pressure treated and so heavy, my dh and I were barely able to get it out of the truck.
I bought this little piece of stained glass when we all went junking on Saturday and I'm either going to hang it on the back of the table, or mount it in the gazebo.

Miss Wilma and Sterl have made more potting tables, too. They were all sitting near her garden, like spring blossoms, just growing everywhere. Some of the smaller ones have vintage porcelain bowls set in them instead of a sink. I'll be able to hook a hose up to mine. Can't wait for spring!!!! Love you, Wilma!!!!

Will come up after my surgery and have recuperated a little, So many things still to do and my time is running out,Sterl got all the church pews took apart. Am doing 3 or 4 short ones and farm tables from the long boards. Gabby and I painted the two cupboards that were in the work shop, they are beautiful.

You need to come here and shop at the Habitat for Humanity store, Wilma. I bought a gallon of new Porter Paint deck paint for 7.00 yesterday. Wish I could be there for your mixing adventure! Show us what color you come up with. :)

Oh lucky you. That is a beautiful potting table. The sink is nice and big, a great shelf. What more could you need? Oh that's right, some sunshine and warmth! I guess it will be coming soon enough. Enjoy your treasure, it's a beauty.
