Hey gals!
Mom and i just got back from our very first mother-and-daughter road trip!!!! We went to Seattle, Canada, and back down to Portland Oregon! It was so great! We had a lot of fun!
Seattle:
We had a gift show to go to for the nursery, so that was fun. It was so different being in a big city again, I definitely didnt miss all of the hustle and bussle, but we had a lot of fun shopping, going to the movies, and of course, THE SPACE NEEDLE! We ate dinner in the restaurant on top, and did you know that it SPINS very slowly while you EAT! I would take a bite of food, then take a picture, then a bite, then a picture! HAhahaha! it was so great!
Canada:
We absolutely LOVED Canada! It was so beautiful! I loved the Butchart Gardens! I am so glad we went! It was absolutely beautiful! We had lunch in "The Dining Room Restaurant" which was absolutley beautiful! I had Creme Brulee for the first time, and LOVED IT! haha!
Portland: We had a gift show to go to for the nursery, and were so happy to be so close to home, we only had 2 or 3 days left on our trip, and we were exhausted!
And now, we are home! We are so happy! We missed everything about our beautiful, small, quiet town. And all of our Animals, family and friends.
So Here are some pics from our trip, hope they come through!

Yes we do have a nursery, and we were at the Portland Show! It was really interesting! We each took some classes aout plant info, and management. I really learned a lot, not only from the classes, but also from the displays other businesses had. I love how much we all have in common at shows like the one in Portland. I can look at some plants or trees, and be like," Is this an Alaskan Cedar?" and the people know exactly what I am talking about! It's Great!
We really did enjoy our trip.

What beautiful pictures you shared! How nice to spend time together doing something you both enjoyed so much. I'm surmising that your family must be in the nursery business? I had some friends from up here that participated in the Portland show.

Oh!! I went to Butchart Gardens when I was 7 and it looks the same!! It is so beautiful there! Every place you took a picture there, I remembered! What wonderful memories! And thank you so much for sharing!! I can not wait until my daughters are old enough so we can do road trips together! I think you and your mom had a wonderful idea and I think it is so neat you were able to go together!! Thanks Again!!

HEATHER, great pictures, looks like you had a really nice time. and what a pretty girl you are! And isn't it great to be home again, a nice thing about going away and seeing different things and having a good time is coming home, coming home to me is always the best, and I think a change of routine and a get away is great but makes you realize how much you love home. Not to many mother daughter get aways happen you are both very lucky to have done this. FRAME THOSE PICTURES!!

It was a great trip and great time, but oh how I am thankful to be home. Back to my daily routine.

When I feel spring coming I have to plant or I’ll go crazy!
