Add me to the list!...Oh wait, I'm a librarian; does that still count?

I practically grew up at my library.

A hook, a book, and a good cup of coffee....

DD stopped and picked up books for me the other day - he he! She dumped 2 bags of books I ordered into my bed! One contains quilling patterns for camping theme. Ahhhh.....the library at it's best....

I love the library too. And their book sales are wonderful. But don't forget University libraries, specialty libraries (Arboretums, etc.) Our textile center here has a library too. They mail books too. Magazines and periodicals too. Happy reading everyone!

I tell my kids when they grow up and leave home look up the library wherever they live. It will be a source of free entertainment on tight budgets

Add me to the "love my library" list. We are there at least once a week, more if I just can't wait to pick up the books I've requested. Each of us gets our own library card with a 50 book limit on it. Yes, I've had to use my children's cards occasionally when mine has reached the limit. In my defense, we homeschool our 12, 9 and 8 year old boys so we utilize the library a lot for that. And cookbooks. And magazines (just saw that my library has back issues of MJF!) And sewing books. And good reads. And. And. And.

Yep, I think I have a problem!

A big thumbs up for the library. I have a friend who goes there when she has a day off from her children. The librarians always laugh at her and say "You come HERE when you have time to yourself?" Of course! I like the library because I'm a really picky reader. It's nice to know I can grab 6 or 7 books at a time (free of charge, of course) because it never fails I will end up dropping 4 or 5 of them after the first chapter. ;)

I love the smell of a library. All those books just waiting to be read.
My daughter is starting our two year old grandson early on the library. She took him to story time last week. He really loves books. When he got in the library he went crazy running around because of all the books on the shelves. I think it was to much for him

I love our library too. I went there this morning before the snow started. You can never have too many books during a snow storm - and I got Downton Abbey Season 1 - its going to be a good weekend.

I also grabbed the November More magazine - with MJ in it. I was kind of disappointed - it was way in the back and only one page. She deserves so much more than that... It was well written. Hope she wins the contest.

I also agree its the place to go for trips. You can't beat their price and no worries about driving. The people who work in my library are wonderful people. You feel the good energy the minute you walk in the door.

I love my library too! Especially when my kids were littler, we used to practically LIVE there! Through the years we have done so many wonderful programs there! One of the greatest things that I discovered recently was that they have Museum passes that you can get for FREE! I just got 4 tickets to the Museum of Natural History in New York, that we are going to use to bring the kids to over the winter school break. Not only does it include the admission but the tickets are good for an exhibit as well such as an IMAX movie etc. If I were to pay for these tickets they would be over $100 for my family of 4. they also offer some great bus trips at great prices. I just purchased tickets for the Philadelphia Flower Show which is in March. For the full day including roundtrip coach bus, and admission to the flower show it was only $54. If you look into it your local library is one of the best deals in town!

I love my library. So many books and "suggestions" from those books. My librarians are so kind and really take an interest in getting to know me and my family. We're enjoying several free classes held there right now. There's also the post-it board for other things/services in town. As I decide where some of my donation money can go, I think my local library will be at the top of the list.

The library is the best, isn't it? I love the library, and sometimes I bite off more than I can read! Have fun with your projects!

I have LOVED my library since I was old enough to know where books come from :) I am now so very lucky to work at my local libraryl...I come home with new books most every week. Feel kind of funny admitting I have 48 books upstairs waiting to be read :) Good luck with your projects!
