Posted - Jan 12 2012 : 05:38:16 AM Found this yesterday at the thrift, it was in a very dirty old box, never been opened. Guess they didn't want it. Well I did and it has a new home now. I noticed while driving to the thrift which is only about a half mile from me, is a new goodwill store opening up. This could be trouble, its even closer then the thrift store. yipes!

Posted - Jan 13 2012 : 08:14:36 AM Nice tea set. I find that GW tends to not have such great finds and is a bit on the pricey side. However, GW is giving jobs to people who otherwise have very limited opportunities, handicapped and such.

Posted - Jan 13 2012 : 07:20:42 AM How pretty!! You do find the neatest stuff. I found a small, silver child's tea set a couple of years ago and it was so cheap that I bought it - tray, tea pot, sugar and creamer - because I figured that MAYBE one day I'd have a granddaughter. Well, I have a new granddaughter, so guess what we will be doing in a couple of years!! :-)

Posted - Jan 12 2012 : 07:16:23 AM Love the tea set. Can't wait until I unpack the two that I have. They'll go into the little house. A price war between Goodwill and the thrift store...I call that opportunity to shop till you drop! Lucky lady.
