Hi Farmgirls,

I have missed all of you! I apologize for being away from MJF so long. Several weeks ago, before the holidays, I tripped carrying a load of laundry down our stairs and injured myself pretty severely. I got bruised ribs, a concussion, a sprained ankle, two sprained wrists, torn ligaments and a very deep contusion on my pelvis. Thank the Lord I didn't break a bone - the ER doctors were also amazed to see my x-rays and find no breaks. I also thank God I was carrying laundry at the time and not one of my daughters. Because of the injuries I couldn't type and stay active on the Forum.

We thankfully have a wonderful sitter who was on break from college and was able to really help out and my husband had already arranged a vacation around the holidays.

I am starting to be able to walk without a limp and my sprains are healing enough that I can do some typing.

I have thought about all of you so often and I hope everyone's holidays were wonderful and start to the new year has been blessed.

I also hope to keep my recovery up and catch up with everyone.

Thank you everyone! Your prayers, thoughts and welcome back words make me feel even better. I really am starting to really feel the recovery - it was too bad it had to happen at the holidays, but it all could have been so much worse - so I can't complain. I regret missing so much time chatting with all the wonderful Farmgirls here. I'll be playing catch up for awhile - but I really am wishing all of us a wonderful, blessed, happy and joyful 2012!
