Made myself get dressed and outside this afternoon and took a few snaps of the bay about two blocks from our home. Still trying to figure out my new FujiFilm camera...

The sky was a deep gray cobalt blue and it was blustery and brisk, but it felt so good to get outside! I can't believe that the bay is still wide open-definitely not the "norm" for our part of the country.

Thank you ladies for the fine compliments on my amateur photography. I would love to be able to capture "true" Northern Michigan colors in mid-winter-Hard to do when you don't know what you are doing!

Judith, I haven't been to Copper Harbor in eons. Honeymooned there 20 years ago....Beautiful, wild and rugged that's our Great North Woods!

Wonderful pics, Melody! Makes me miss the north so much! Had a real craving to see Copper Bay, MI over the holidays. Haven't been there in awhile.

Melody, That is so pretty. Makes me want to dig out my watercolors!! I think you are doing a very fine job with your new camera. Keep the photos coming. Your part of the country looks so different than ours.
