My Aunt Glenda made this when she was 90, she is 96 now. She said she loved doing it but can't see good enough anymore to make another one. She has always had some kind of needlework in the making.Right now she knits hats for newborns at the hospital near her. I think she made close to a hundred last year.

That woven blanket is amazing & what a wonderful piece to pass down thur the years to others....I love that she is still working on her craft even with her age...I wish more would do that ...but then again with all us farmgirls we are working to keep things like this alive....tell your Auntie she is a hero in my farmgirl eyes....Michele'

Nothing better than a handmade gift, especially from your own family. It is just beautiful.
