I love Jingle Bell Rock. It isn't very traditional, but it is so happy and upbeat. I know it doesn't have anything to do with the true meaning of Christmas, but it sure makes me smile.

I too had never heard the 'Hippo' song....until my daughter started signing it with the grand-girlies! 'Hippopotamus' is a mouth full for two 2year olds! lol!

The "I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas" (http://youtu.be/VGLGJV01C0Q) always reminds me of the North American House Hippo commercial (http://youtu.be/BX95OAacPEc)! It's hilarious & I always think to myself "I want a house hippo now!".

I really love Breath of Heaven & Carol of the Bells. There are a few other ones, but those two I could listen to repeatedly lol - if they were on the same CD!

when i was growing up it was harry simeon chorals version of the lil drummer boy--now that bob seger has recorded it -that version is my favorite...
i really love all of them except for grandma and teh reindeer!
