Using FB, I found a whole slew of childhood buddies. People I had grown up with from bith to 8th grade, when my adopted mom moved me to TX.
Anywho, it has been fabulous to find these friends (real friends I could trust my life with) but found two had died and another suicide just this past year. I am bothered but after finding out specifics, I think I can understand. I was not in her shoes, so, won't judge, although am against suicide.
Anywho, again, my buddies have, to the last one, have been so happy I found them! When I signed up with FB, I didn't use my maiden name, so no one knew me. Come to find out quite a few have been looking for me, for years!!
Is this not cool?? It's a little overwhelming to find all my buds and then to find a lot of my family in the past couple of years. Still dealing with it and learning how to cope. Really, I'm having to learn how to deal with having a LOT of people actually care and love me! Steange, no??
So, before it's too late, find someone from your past and reconnect. You might be pleasantly surprised!!

found several high school girlfriends as well as my best bud from college, has been so fun to re-connect. my college friend and I have gotten together already and it was like no time had passed at all. loved seeing her again. |

Winona, so glad you reconnected with them...it is great...I have found that you can put your maiden name on your profile and make it well people can use it to search for you but also make it so it doesn't show....hope that makes sense...lol...
