i FINALLY got some pictures of my drawings on my computer and i thought that i would share some of them with all of you!! These are from my spring 2006 and summer 2006 semesters. (I start back to school on Mon. eeeek!!)


-My master study-


-a cows skull- this is just a small part of a larger piece


-My self portrait-


-Landscape project-(i had to sit in a parking lot for hours!!)

oh my goodness thank you!! i havent been able to post in a couple days because we finally moved into the farm house!!!! yay!!! ill write more about that in "a farm of my own". But to answer some questions....I go to Iowa State Univ. and my major is Biological and Pre-Med Illustration, for example science book illustrations, medical posters and handouts at the doctors office, nature books, etc. Its a great program!! thanks again for all of your wonderful words!!

Leah these are fantastic! Are you in a college program! I teach art! You've got a lot of talent! Especially the portrait! The expression is very charming and the shadows are great as well. Keep up the good work!

WOW, you are so talented. What school are you attending?

I tried attending the academy of art college on-line, but found it to be very difficult to study art on-line. So now I just take local classes. I would love to take a drawing class.

Your first picture looks like you could pick up the dress and put it on! The shading and light are so good. I really love the subject and your drawing. Great job.

When I feel spring coming I have to plant or I’ll go crazy!

I remember art classes I started to do art in elemetary school entering art contests and the like maybe some day I should show some of my art work from collage. Just not sure how it would be received not very country or farmish more comtemporary or modern or very old school like a Venus of Wilendorf reproduction.
