Well I have been pressing leaves today, always like doing that. I put them in a book. I posted a picture. So many pretty ones laying around a person can get carried away.
Actually I posted two pictures of the same thing because I have no idea what I'm doing. Thats what happens when you don't do a blog for several months.

O, a trouble's a ton or a trouble's an ounce,
Or a trouble is what you make it!
And it isn't the fact that you're hurt that counts,
But only--how did you take it?

To bring some fall into our house and to give us a project to do my 4 year old and I took our window valance down in our dining room. We replaced it with various fallen leaves from our yard tied on strings hanging down on the window in place of our valance. Each string has a few leaves cascading down the window. It turned out pretty nice and when the afternoon light hits the leaves they are really lovely.

Hi Nancy. I went up on Lookout mt. Thursday with my granddaughter and we found some of the most beautiful bright leaves ever. I got some waxed paper and made 2 banners for my dining room window. I made 1 bigger banner for the top with 5 sheets of waxed paper leaves and then a smaller one with 8 single leaves. It is so pretty! I wish mt camera worked so I can take a picture of it. With the sun shining in through them in the morning, it looks like stained glass. And these will last for a long time. I used to make place mats doing the same thing.
