Posted - Aug 13 2006 : 2:32:15 PM Hello all...
I have missed this forum and all the nicest people I have ever met online. Life got so busy and hectic...and so very stressed and rough spots. A lot of the rough spots are still there but I've learned how to cope better with it. I've been working full time at a local company and I like it ok. I miss having the energy or time to read up on the posts here. Sadly, I put down MJ's book in February when life got very bumpy and it wasn't until today that I picked it up again. I wanted since Christmas to make the outdoor mason jar lamp and just now getting the umph to try it. Just picking up the book was like getting a call from your a good friend you lost touch with.
Since it's been so long I don't expect many of you to remember me... but I remember most of you and look forward to meeting everyone who has joined since.
Peace, Cyn

Posted - Aug 14 2006 : 3:39:32 PM Hi Cynthia,
Welcome back. Sometimes we all get so busy. I just starting re-reading MJ's book again. It makes me feel so homey and it makes me want to create all sorts of things by myself. Glad you're back.

Posted - Aug 14 2006 : 06:55:35 AM Hi Cynthia, I am new since you've been out of touch but am also glad you are back. Isn't it nice to know you can pick up where you left off?
My boss also deals with a wheat allergy and other food allergies. She has gained quite an education in adjusting her diet. Fortunately more and more food products are being made wheat/gluten free and there are some good substitutes coming availalbe all the time. She has good luck at a store in Virginia called Whole Foods (used to be called Fresh Fields)where she can buy wheat-free bread/biscuit/cake products. She's a bread eater so it is really touch on her to miss out ! Good luck - let me know if you need any more information.

I'm another new one here, and want to welcome you back. I saw your post about the wheat allergy, so am hoping you can get some good help from folks with knowledge. It must be hard to change so much of your cooking and eating! I'll be praying for you.

Posted - Aug 13 2006 : 3:22:36 PM Welcome back Cynthia! I hope that you will find the time to make that lamp, curl up in a nice cozy chair and read a good book or a letter by it's warm glow. We all have our ups and downs and the best thing about this group of women is that no matter how long (or why) you've been "gone", it's always a joy to have you back. Here's a (((hug))) in hopes that things smooth out for you soon!

Posted - Aug 13 2006 : 2:44:22 PM Cynthia, I don't know you, but hey, life does get in the way sometime! Just remember how nice it is when you do get to go online and read some posts. It gives you a warm and fuzzy feeling! I keep the book with me, carry it from room to room. Then when I need it, it's there! I just love it.
Welcome back and hope to see your posts soon!
Enjoy your new job, and have some fun too.
