Posted - Sep 01 2011 : 1:08:04 PM I can't remember her name, but someone on this forum sent me the seeds! I think it was two summers ago, and I just got a chance to plant them this spring. I'm sorry I don't remember who you were but thanks again! |

Posted - Sep 01 2011 : 12:55:39 PM Beautiful! Looks a lot like the Grandpa Ott's variety I had planted at my old home. They were self-seeding and spread everywhere - but they were beautiful & so are yours!

Posted - Sep 01 2011 : 06:11:38 AM It does look like a light is shining on the little star in the middle. Never noticed it before. My mother loves them but to me they are a pesky weed in the garden that I am always pulling up. They really are pretty.

Posted - Sep 01 2011 : 05:51:37 AM So pretty, Amie--I have a wild blue one this year, tangled in with all my other mess. I've been happy to keep it going when I see it's little blue face each morning. I always think I'm going to plant a ton of them along the fenceline and then I totally forget--thanks for sharing, it's a beautiful wake up this morning!

Posted - Sep 01 2011 : 05:10:24 AM Amie- Love the picture of your morning glories! I have some just about the same color that a friend gave me last year- of course they have spread but hey- if all of my "weeds" looked that good I'd be happy! Lol. I know that some people do not like them because they are rather invasive- but I really enjoy them. They remind me of my grandma- those were one of her (many) favorites. Thanks for sharing! Smiles,
