My mom and I use to watch it every day. Rory, Lorelai, Luke, Jess!!! Ah. I wish they would either bring the show back (highly unlikely) or make a movie. We have all of the seasons on DVD and have watched all the episodes at least twice, but it's just not the same. Has anyone else ever been slightly obsessed with this amazing show?

Jessie, I hated how Emily treated Lorelai, but her and Richard remind me a little of my grandparents. Just the way they would banter back and forth but still be so in love. My grandma is nothing like Emily as a person though!
Lisa, that's where I get my GG fix too!

I'm SO not trying to be nasty when I say this--it just makes me giggle seeing this here on MJF. This is one of those series/shows that for me, was like The English Patient, Titanic and many other "OMG, you have to see this!"...and I chose not to watch it because I was so tired of hearing about it from the women in my office (the grocery, the bank, Target, hair dresser). I felt like I'd watched a million reruns!

I used to work with a man that shared his secret love of Gilmore Girls with me. He was really smart, and was a philosophy major, and would only play guitars that cost at least $1000, loved Bertrand Russell. It was really one of the only endearing things about him.
I put it on my Netflix.

Megan, I loathed Emily for the longest time, but her and Richard together, yeah, they make a great couple. I hated Lorelai with every single guy except for Luke, it was ALWAYS meant to be them, but best of all, I love Suki and Jackson haha.

My favorite couple on the show was Lorelai and Luke, hands down! They were the most adorable couple! And Emily and Richard... there's too much to say about them!

Hahaha! Mara, yeah he's a pretty handsome man but for some reason I was always drooling over Rory's boyfriends Jess and Logan. ;)

Kim, Michele is too much! Lol I can't believe I forgot him :( time to watch all the seasons all over again!

The actor who played the daughter's boyfriend (or one of them), Jared Padalecki, is co-star of an amazing series on CW called "Supernatural." He was cute then, but you wouldn't believe the hunk he's turned into!

I loved Gilmore Girls. In fact I want the DVDs for Christmas so I can watch them banter any time I want. :) I loved getting tied up in Lorelis run on sentances and Michelles uppity talk. LOL

Believe it or not, my son and I used to watch this together all time. He is now 28 and married and we still talk about our favorite episodes. His wife loves it, too and sometimes we get out the dvds, pop some corn and have a good old time. I really miss all those Stars Hollow folks.Michele

I also love GG! They still show GG on reruns here on cable, but I rarely have the time to just sit & watch because I have two little ones who take up most of my time. I miss good TV writing. I'm not a fan of reality TV and a lot of the new shows that I like don't get picked up because they're "too smart" for the broader audience. Regardless, I too miss the GG and hope that the movie does the show justice!

I am still having Gilmore Girl withdrawal symptoms too. I think a movie just might take care of them!

I love the Gilmore Girls! They did an excellent job with the casting and the scripting. The show always felt very authentic to me. The troubles and conflicts weren't some blown up overly sexed teenage drama like so many other shows have become. I loved Mrs. Kim. She was such a great character.

Good morning Ladies!

So glad to hear that there are other GG fans out there :) Megan, my mom and I are like Rory and Lorelai too! We've always laughed about that. Karen, what a coincidence lol, and I have always enjoyed the music on the show as well. GG has been a frumpy day fix for me since the show first aired. I don't know why it never gets old, but it seems to always get me laughing and always wishing I lived in Stars Hollow.

Liz, sounds like you've got a great guy who loves you haha if he is willing to carry around GG and drive far and wide to get it for you :)
Lisa, I love Miss Patty too!!! But most of all...I love... KIRK :D

Marian, lucky you haha!!!

Jennifer, you literally just made my morning. I'M AM SO EXCITED. I don't think a GG movie can ever come soon enough. :)

Jessie, Gilmore Girls is one of my favorite all-time television series. I, too have seen all the episodes at least twice, and I love watching when it's on SoapNet on the weekends. My Mom and I are a lot like Lorelai and Rory, too! I am seriously obsessed with the show! You're not alone:)
