Posted - Aug 18 2011 : 5:00:45 PM Hi Sherrie- I used a Samsung L100 digital camera- not a real expensive camera- just a basic digital 8.2 megapixel camera. The scenery was so beautiful that I think the shots would have been as good with a disposable camera...lol. Glad you enjoyed them- I actually took a whole series of shots of the sun setting over the course of a few nights and just had a "collage" made of the series...Beautiful! Smiles,

Posted - Aug 18 2011 : 07:09:51 AM Thanks Elaine and Kristin- We had a wonderful time! Montauk is "The End" of Long Island- kind of like you are at the end of the earth- so very beautiful. I grew up camping on this beach so it is nice to be able to take my kids back there to enjoy it with them. We camp RIGHT on the beach- no electricity etc for just $15 per night. You have to be "self contained" which means trailers- no tents (when I grew up we camped in tents too). The nicest resort you can find for just $15 per night! Smiles,
