The sun is starting to rise here in Montana and I am up! It feels great to be up this early and have a few hours to get some things done around the house before I have to leave for work.

Nora is watching old black and white cartoons and the morning oatmeal is on the stove. Some clothes were left out overnight on the line because our dryer is broken and I am hoping last night was not too dewy.

I hope you ladies have a wonderful day!!

Good Afternoon ALL! I must admit that this morning I missed the "early risers club", and spent a leisurely morning just puttering around and being "lazy". You need that every once in a while. I do love waking early before everyone else does and being able to get so much done- it really does make the most of the day. Have to work tomorrow, but after that I only have 2 more days of work until the kids go back to school on Sept 7th...so I will get to enjoy my little piece of paradise here on Long Island. I'm working on trying to convince my DH that he should let me purchase a 1979 Scotty Serro Trailer that I found on craigslist. It is an original true vintage beauty that has been very very well cared for- and I hate to pass it up. We shall see....
Enjoy the rest of your day gals!

Morning back at you, Alee, and all. Got up early, too, had coffee with DH before he went to work. DD got up late, spent some time with her just chatting, and now I've got clothes washing, gave our cats their food and one her meds, and made the beds. Caught up on email, cruised the chatroom, and now it is already 11:00! Where'd the day go?? Spending the morning on the Connection is a good way to start with a relaxing, rainy day. Hoping the deluge stops enough that we can hit the farmers market. Wishing I had cows and chickens to tend to...I'll have chickens, soon, though. Can't wait.

Good Morning everyone. I too was up early to watch the sun come up over my mountains. No, farm animals but having the birds talk to me and see the Doe with the fawns is such a blessing and a joy.
Went to visit a friend yesterday at her ranch, got to visit with all her farm animals, and I had such a peaceful/wonderful time. The burros, horses, sheep and goats were all so welcoming letting me love on them. The chickens were so busy eating I do not think they knew I was there:-) So, I got to see and feel a little bit of what all you wonderful women who own farms and ranches feel, without all the work of course. All of you are so Blessed, and I am so happy I get to share a little bit of what your lives are like through my friend.
All of you are very special to me, thank you for sharing with me farm life.
Have a beautiful week.
Farmgirl Hugs,
Debbie

Good morning, Alee! You should have been at Paradise this morning. I leave well before the sun wakes up, and was greeted by some sweet smiling faces -- guilty smiles because they all knew they weren't where they were supposed to be. So in the wee hours of the morning I was leading cows back to their pasture, and resecuring the gates. Don't you just love farm life??????

from the hearts of paradise...

Up early today at 4:30 am, couldn't sleep anymore. Got lots of stuff done before the kids got up though! Love when that happens. Should be a nice day here...we're doing some running, have a meeting with a mortgage person, and my hubby gets fitted for a new (bullet proof) vest for work. :) Hope everyone has a lovely day!

Good morning from a very cool (56) and sunny morning in Ft. Wayne, IN. Love these types of mornings. I gave Keith his wake up call around 6:30. He'll go out and drink his coffee on the side porch in KY and watch for the doe and her fawns to venture out of the woods and walk across the meadow. Sure wish I could be there instead of packing boxes up here.

Good morning!!! Was up until 1 am this morning on the phone because a friend needed to vent and then at 5 this am, my DH woke me as he was trying to get around to go to work. I just went ahead and got up. I think I'm starting to topple though. :-) It's a beautiful morning but going to be a hot day!

Goodmorning. The moon is still out here, but because you can see it, it will likely be hot. YAY! It's a Faux summer her, I forgot.
