I hope all of our farmgirls who went to the Indiana State Fair are OK. When I read this news this morning about the stage collapse and the poor people killed and hurt I was worried.

Just awful--my sil and bil and the kids were there the night before this happened. I instantly got chilled when I heard the news. We were at my fil's Local Union 127 picnic at Stricker's Grove when the storm started brewing--it's about 80 miles from Indianapolis, and always in the direct path of whatever they get. It appeared to be a very bad storm brewing, so we cut out from the picnic early. I'm so sorry that what should have been a wonderful evening was so horrible for these people.

My big sis was supposed to be there but didn't make it to the concert! We are thankin God for that!

As far as I know, all the farmgirls that I know here in Indiana are accounted for. Not sure how many there are though. I only know a few of them.

Me too Elaine- in fact first thing that came to mind were my farmgirl sisters. Hoping that everyone is safe and praying for anyone affected by this tragedy.
