It has been such a long time since I have been on the forum. I have had so many things going on in my life lately. I have some wonderful news to share. I just sold two of my mares to Israel. This is something that I have dreamed of being able to do (Be a international seller)from the time my first foal hit the ground 6 yrs ago. She is one of the mares going and he maternal sister is also going. What a great accomplishment for my farm. Maybe this will get my foot in the door to sell more overseas. The market here is very bad for selling and maybe overseas people are taking advantage and buying here. I was offered to also buy their mom but had to refuse the offer as I love her so and she is my best baby maker. We have started the process and they should be leaving in about another week and a half. I am very excited but my heart will be broken as Johara was my first foal born on my farm. I will miss her very much. Here are a few pictures of the girls. Will update on the process!

You bet Alee I wouldn't miss coming and seeing you! I have threatened to go without my DH but just couldn't leave him behind.

I tell you there have been so many other things happen on the farm that I haven't had much time to grieve. I just hope they make it safe and look forward to hearing how much he likes the girls!

I hope that the saddness of saying goodbye to the horses has given way to an excitement for them and yourself! *hugs* I am sure you will always miss the girls though!

When you come out to Washington I hope you will swing over to Montana too! :)

Thank you Kimberly,
Maybe we will meet sometime as I am trying to get my husband to take me to Washington. We have family there and I have never been. Just hard to get away from all the horses.

If all went well the girls should have arrived at the airport so just waiting to hear how they are!

What a huge step and accomplishment! Congrats.

I went to an Arabian Ranch in Canada once. She bred Black arabians. And she sold internationally too for HUGE money. It was pretty cool. I especially liked her Egyptian Arabians, such nice temperments. Your ladies are lovely and I'm sure they'll impress everyone in Israel.

To bad we're on opposite ends of the country, maybe we could be riding buddies! I've got a Peruvian Paso.

Excuse the mess & the noise, my children are making happy memories

The girls had made it safely to the airport and should be leaving in about 30 mins. I am praying for a safe flight for them. I can't wait till they get to meet their new owner. They should arrive at the airport there at about 8pm their time. This is so exciting I can't wait to hear how he likes the girls!

Thank you for the wonderful replies! The girls are safely on their way now and yes I cried when they left. It was tougher than I thought. I know they are going to have a great new home and look forward to seeing what they will produce for their new owner.
I already have another man interested in coming to the farm and seeing what I have for sale so this is a great time for my farm right now. I have always felt if people saw what we had here they would buy them on site. We have a fabulous group of horses and I am very proud to say I am now a International Seller. Thanks again for the nice compliments. Will keep you posted on their arrival. They are going to NY to fly out on a airplane there.

CongratsJennifer on your accomplishments with your horses! They are GORGEOUS!!!

On the flip side, I would GLADLY send you all the rain we've had over the last few months!! Especially what we've got going on right now. My basement has more than flooded, rivers are cresting and roads are flooded everywhere around here. It's NOT pretty

Wow--your horses are beautiful. My daughter has an Arabian mare and loves her. I think Arabians are the most beautiful and elegant horses in the world.

Congratulations on the sale! As hard as it is to part with those beauties it is what you have been stiving for. Your recent post with pictures shows how sweet they are as well. You look happy with them, just being around such incredible animals would make almost anyone smile. Now be happy that they are your messengers. Keeping their mother who is tried and true was definately a wise decision.

Recently my SIL took me for a ride on one of his well mannered Tennessee Walking horses. I haven't ridden since I was a teenager and it reminded me of a what wonderful creatures horses are! You are so lucky!
Best wishes!

Thank you Alee and Kristi,
That would be nice if I can visit them. The gentleman said he would stay in touch with me so hope he will stay true to his word. Right now I have been hugging and kissing them as much as I can.

Well we are getting so close to the girls leaving for their new home. So far I have only cried about 20 times! It has been a learning experience for me and to be honest with you I am not sure how to process it all. So many people are so different in the horse world. Anyways, the plan is for them to be leaving this Thursday. Hopefully all will goes as plan.

You really shouldn't. We are under a heat advisory till Friday. Right now at noon it is 95 but feels like 103. Ugh! I am so ready for fall. Of course down here we will probably just skip right past it.
Ruby, one of my two yr olds, like to come to the fence by the house and let me hose her down. She is too cute. Too bad we cant up load little videos here.

Should I tell you that it rained so hard here yesterday that it knocked down some of my corn? Or that it has been in the 80's? I probably shouldn't do that should I?

I was hoping he would lease the mare I have and also include a breeding in it for me to get a foal out of the deal. The stallion is here in the states for this year and next season I do believe. So working on that one.

Alee- His stallion won Supreme Champion Stallion at the EE in Kentucky this year. His name is Al Rhaheeb AA.
You can search him on Youtube.

Any chance you could get a couple vials of his frozen stud in the deal to try out for yourself? That would be my thought.

I can't wait to see what babies they will produce for this gentleman. His stallions are gorgeous. I will post a photo of them when I get some. Thank you again for all the wonderful compliments!
