When you are on a 2 foot step ladder, don't forget.

When you hang clothes out on the line, shake them out really good before putting them on.

Don't carry so much that you can't see where you are going.

Don't turn your back on a bottle fed ram lamb that you just called to come eat.

Lea, that would not be fun. And very hard to get them out of your clothes. I had a clothesline between trees once and had bird poop alot on the clothes.

Darlene, it would have been earlier, but I was busy!

Grace, would love to see some of your list.

Kris all very good advise - I would have a list as long as I am tall for all the things I should know better about, things I have repeated more times then I care to count and thos things that I soon will be doing that I so wished I had not. It is great to share our lessons because we may be able to save someone those horrible lessons. Thanks for the heads up!!

I never had the bees but did have small ants once. Our old house had the clothesline between 2 trees and they crawled right on over and onto my laundry.

I'm glad you're ok, Kris, and thanks for posting all these reminders to us. Although, I'm sure none of us would *ever* need them, right? ;) I remember bringing bees in the house in the laundry. Tina - I can't imagine finding them in your pillow case as you get into bed!

as far as laundry drying outside, I too learned the hard way to shake everything out real well, washed my sheets and dried them outside, put them back on the bed, went to bed that night and had a VERY LOUD buzzing in my ear, it turned out to be 2 very angry honey bees in my pillow case, so ever since then, I am extra careful,lol...

I am all the time doing something here. Like this morning I went out back to feed the lamb his bottle and called him. He was behind me about 10' away and came at me like a missile and got me behind the knees. Kind of scary. And there always seems to be a wasp or 2 in the clothes or sheets. And just awhile ago I was cleaning the light fixture in the dining room and almost forgot that I was on the step ladder. Not a good thing to do! And as far as carrying way too much, I am always doing that and stubbing a toe pr running into a doorway. So there are alot of ways to get hurt just going about your daily lives. Be careful!

Oh Kris! I hope you OK after all of these! I know I am guilt of #3 frequently especially carrying a pile of dirty clothes downstairs to the wash. I get about 1/2 way down before I think what I'm doing then I'm stuck since I can't see to go up or down, lol! I usually throw the clothes the rest of the way down then pick my way through them hoping I don't trip.

Hopefully none of these caused you harm. It's a good list though and great that you have a sense of humor!!!
