So, none of you can e-mail me from here. The library computers are our only resource for now - can't blog with photos, no home e-mail, no photos to here, no on-line writing - I am just so frustrated and upset. I can't do my on-line banking either. I feel like crying. Oh well. We knew it was dying and we knew it was old and we knew it wasn't turning on right (or at all). I can log in to my blogs at the library, but no way of uploading photos to it - just plain aggravating that we can't replace it either. The school communicates with us that way also - band camp, etc.

And then.............I put 12 cups of water in my coffee pot - out came 8. It's over heating and burned up the water making it. Just wonderful. Everything is breaking down around here. Our yard trimmer is still broke down and they guy who is working on it can't get it running either.

I got no sleep last night. I was congested all night, and had to breathe through my mouth, causing it to get very dry and now I have a cough, laryngitis and sore throat. My eyes were swollen and sinuses were so swelled I had to get up at 5am and get an ice pack to help me get 1 1/2 hours of sleep. Now I have a headache.

Oh....I just ordered my turkeys for Thanksgiving, and was setting up an tour of the farm via e-mail. Now I have to locate the farm number and call them to explain. Ugh....just double ugh, ugh, ugh.

I don't have the money for a computer PC. I lost a lot of on-line writing income recently. Sheesh.

Sorry for the long venting, but wanted everyone to know I have no e-mail, and when I do get another one going at the library, I can't check it everyday.

Have you checked craigslist or freecycle for a give away? maybe even post a wanted add? Hubby and I are into computer gaming so we keep ours up to date and I have a couple old towers in the closet but shipping one of those monsters from AZ to Ohio just isn't feasible :( Maybe someone closer to you is in the same situation as I am though?

Kristi,
I'm SOOOOOOOOOOOO thankful for your last email . . . and sooooooooooo sorry you're without your computer. I wish there was something I could do other than encourage and pray. But pray I will do!!!
Hopefully you'll be up and running sooner than you think.
Take care . . . I'll be praying for all other things as well

There, there. We've all been there and it's no fun. We've had lightning strike our house twice. It's blown a hole in the a/c unit outside, every electronic gadget including our computer, monitor, dvd player, 32 inch hdtv, cordless phone...but not the dinosaur vcr. And the electrician says there's nothing wrong with the wiring and we had a surge protector. Our next disaster was the house flooding and I had to live 2 months with a gutted bathroom and kitchen. We're just waiting for God to burn it down. Recently we've had a lawnmower refuse to start and a truck that would start but couldn't be turned off. All that is behind us now. Your computer problems will be behind you too, soon. I read your blog and you ARE blessed in food. Right now I can't even grow an artificial plant, lol.

Just keep praying!

Thank you for your kind words. We are scrambling to try to come up with enough money to buy just the tower. My son is selling some of his video games to help, but he needs the computer to sell on ebay - ha ha ha!

I might be getting an old PC from a family member, but it may be older than our dinosaur - ha ha!

I am so sorry to hear of your troubles - I've had runs of bad luck and hard times like that and they are awful. I pray your luck turns around and I
Will tell you one of my favorite quotes from The Sound of Music - "When God shuts a door, He opens a window somewhere." Those are words that have gotten me through some real rough patches.

I send you hugs, Hang in there!

I feel your pain, Kristina. The PC thing happened to me a few months ago. OUCHouchouch. And... oh dear. I'm working on that grammar merit badge. Gotta clean up my act and not use the first word that comes to mind in your situation. ;-D After a couple months, my dad had mercy on me and gave me one of his extra Macs. I wish you something wonderful like that. A fairy-godmother, perhaps? Any one got a spare they can share with Kristina? (thinking of the fairy-godmother, but of course, a PC would be great, too! LOL!)
