Posted - Jul 20 2011 : 7:40:10 PM I can't believe how incredibly stupid the whole bee situation is. They can't even prove it is our bees, I am sure.
I think perhaps the township supervisor was telling them that he isn't going to do anything about it, and their only option is to pursue civil action (at their own cost). Hopefully he thinks it is as stupid as we do. But since they kept calling him by his first name, perhaps he is a friend of theirs. But that could just be an intimidation tactic.
Hard to say. We will be there this weekend. Talk to the other neighbors, the ones that have been there for 30 or more years. See what they think..

Posted - Jul 20 2011 : 08:49:11 AM Brenda, I tried to post a comment, but am having trouble commenting for some reason. I will tell you that my DH does not want me to have bees for exactly the same reason. He says one person gets stung and automatically it will be my fault. If you did not have bees and your neighbors still have bee poop and get stung...who are they going to sue? Mother Nature?
