You all are bringing tears to my eyes - thank you so much for your kind thoughts and prayers! I think that I'm just going to try to make the most of the waiting time and use it as a wonderful opportunity to spend some good, solid playtime with my 3-yr-old!

But not to rule out any options... I DID go into the nursery area and straighten the sheets a bit and set out a little receiving blanket... just in case!!!

Jenny - if watching your children will get this show on the road - bring 'em down TODAY!!!!!!

Love to all of you - and thank you again.

XOXO, Libbie

Maybe the baby is only waiting for you to sneak into the nursery and play with the sheets and open the drawers so he feels truly like coming home!

O Giver of life, receive our prayer for Libbie and Arthur, may they safely and happily come to the time of birth, and serving you in all things, may rejoice in your loving providence. Amen

praying praying praying for ya Libbie!

Libbie Hang in there. Not to depress you but both of my were 11 days late. Both are perfect though so guess they just needed a little more "cooking". The AC should help, what a wonderful hubbie!! Keep up the good work and keep us posted!
Love, Kelly

Gosh - no baby yet. I went again to the "baby doctor," and the word is.........all's well on the inside, so we'll just wait it out. But, woweeee, I really DO feel about 25 months pregnant!

That is so sweet of you all to check up on me --- I just love the friendships here - they feel REAL, not "virtual" at all...

XOXO, Libbie

Yep - I sure am here! And yep - my due date was yesterday. I'm feeling "regular" little guy movements, so no non-stress test so far, and I think it's just a matter of time! Oh, wait...did I say that LAST WEEK?!?!?!?!?

Things are fine with babe and with me - just taking "our" own sweet time, I guess! I'm just trying to stay cooled off and calm during these last few days, and, wow, will I ever be happy to have this little guy in my arms!!

XOXO, Libbie

Are you there?
Has the due date come and gone?! If my memory is correct you were due yesterday....
Are you feeling alright? Baby Arthur is ok? Have you had a non-stress test????
Check in with us here.....I am thinking about you.
Hope all is well.
Love.

Oh Libbie- I hope you have that little bundle of joy soon!!
Your air conditioner story made me think of my parents. When my mom was pregnant with me, my dad went out and bought an air conditioner for their little apartment so she could be comfortable. Well, back in 1958, I guess they were pretty expensive. So, my dad thought he was doing a good thing, and my mom thought he was being wasteful!! Go figure!! When I came along, I am sure that my little baby body was grateful for some coolness in the hot Boston summer. Your husband and my dad are the same breed- kind, thoughtful, concerned men. Good for him!

Okay, I'll admit that your last post made me laugh out loud. I'm picturing a verrrrrry pregnant (and verrrrrrrrry radiant) woman sitting in a lawn chair with a glass in her hand and her feet in a wading pool and the image is delightful!

Enjoy the AC (I can relate) and take care of yourself.

You are all so sweet! Thank you!!! Just reading the encouragement is making me all teary - thank you. I went to the "baby doctor" as my little one calls her, today - and the verdict is..........THE SAME!!!! Any time now....

I spent a good part of the afternoon with feet in the wading pool drinking a virgin margarita. It was sort of like being on vacation - until I had to go feed the cows and make dinner! I am so excited about this new little one - reading all of the stories has just made me want to have this babe in my arms more and more.

I have to say - my husband did a VERY nice thing today - he borrowed a window air-conditioner from a friend that works in the heating/cooling business and installed it an hour or so ago in our bedroom. I am IN LOVE!!! I never thought I would feel this way about an AIR CONDITIONER - okay, so the husband is pretty nice to do this, too!!!

You are all so kind!!! I have to say, no baby, but EXTREME discomfort. I've been laying sort of low for the last couple of days - I am so very hot and LARGELY pregnant - it's been hard to do anything at all. Thank you so much for your concern and kind thoughts! Contractions are every now and again, but they don't seem to be DOING anything. I am thinking that this little babe MUST be ready....RIGHT?!?!?!?!?!
