I move to Colorado! I am excited, and overwhelmed to boot! DH has been up there for the last few days working on fencing and getting the place ready for me, the dogs, the horses and donkeys.

I have done tons of research on the area where we are moving and so far I have found: a raw milk dairy that has shares to sell (YAY); a place to get grass fed beef, pork and chickens; and a pick your own fruit and veggie place...I think I am moving to a much better place!!!

Wish me luck Chickens...I travel the eight hour trip with three of our dogs and two cats!

I am so happy for you. I hope all goes well for you out there!
TK

Happy it is, indeed, for me that my heart is capable of feeling the same simple and innocent pleasure as the peasant whose table is covered with food of his own rearing, and who not only enjoys his meal, but remembers with delight the happy days and sunny mornings when he planted it, the soft evenings when he watered it, and the pleasure he experienced in watching it’s daily growth.

Margaret,

welcome to the great west. There are quit a few of us Colorado girls though we are pretty spread out. You'll love the weather, though it is now monsoon season, at least on the west side.
