Things for the month of June, like I'm sure it has been for most all of us, have been bin-stop. It's been so wonderful and crazy all at once. What a blessing it was to be nine tired, and a bit lonely with my DH away for work, and to get the sweet emails, gifts, and postings, reminding me that I go, work, and fight because I am a farmgirl!! What a special gift you sisters gave me! Thank you all so much.
The love and encouragement you all showered on me was unbelievable! Never saw my inbox so full every morning!! Thank you so much for this honor, I will never forget it!

Tomorrow is the last day of the month, but we have so much to do, I will not be home at all. I am too excited to delay this post, so here goes!

July's Farmgirl of the Month is Magnoliawhisper. She is always quick with advice, tips, encouragement, support, and hugs. Every time she posts with so much enthusiasm, and when she posts "LOL hahaha" it always makes me smile. She shares her joy so well, its not enough to say she's laughing out loud, she includes the laugh as well!!
I know others feel her joy too, and her pure zeal for life. From thriftyness, to pregnancy, to farm kitchen, she's there, sharing and laughing. In family matters her heart is in each post.
Enjoy your special month Heather! You are such a special Farmgirl!! &hearts.

Yes Annette precisely why my parents went with it. We have a lot of teen boys here too. And a very naive teen girl as well-she may never intentionally go any where "bad" but she might unintentionally as she is so naive.

As far as I know this one is local and we are in this really tiny town. I am not sure if other small towns have something similar, here it's ran by a young man (maybe in his early 30's, but looked younger then that when ever he comes out). He has came out with a good business I think in this economy and he doesn't really charge any more then the big companies (which we don't have out here in the boondocks any way! lol haha) either.

However, it had to be a visitor this time, cause every one who "lives" here knows about the service, and wouldn't try it. lol They know it would be turned off right away. And it made every one who lives here "miserable". lol hahaha The pain of no service! haha

Thank you so much for appointing me Farm girl of the month, it's such a honor. And so sweet! I really do appreciate it!

Sorry for not commenting earlier. At first I didn't realize "I" was the one that was Farm girl of the month, then I couldn't find the thread, then I was pointed to the thread, but my brother came into town and he doesn't get to very often. He just left today. So I spent most my time with him and the family since he was here. And trying to catch up on all my clothes I need made before baby gets here. lol So sorry I didn't come in earlier. It wasn't for lack of appreciation, more of lack of time! Oh and also we have horrible internet, when ever the weather storms or what ever it's really choppy. We also had a lot of people here this weekend, and every one always brings their laptop, we aren't sure who but some one must of downloaded something our ISP didn't like. (it's a christian internet service provider, anything "bad" gets our service cut off till a parent calls in and gets it turned back on, with so many people here over the weekend, we have no idea who it was, so nothing we could do. BUT, in the meantime the ISP is such a small company it is closed on weekends/holidays so we couldn't get it turned back on till today! UHG, been having to just do very little with our phone here and there till today!).

Any way thank you all so much, you all are so sweet, and I feel so appreciative to be given this honor this month! Thanks so much! Every one has made my month!

I'm renewing my connection with the forum and this is something new since I was on here last (embarrassingly - 2 years ago), but anywho, what is the Farmgirl of the month? Probably a dumb question as the title says alot, but just curious about how long it has been going on and such. Just curious so I can applaud and encourage others; love to see others recognized for their contributions and efforts (once a cheerleader always a cheerleader ;o). Thanks for your info.

And, Heather, don't know you YET, but I send my congratulations to you anyway, in hopes of getting to know you. From the sounds of everyone's comments, it seems it is very well deserved. Blessings to you.

Lynda L.

Enjoy the blessings of your day.
