I am posting this because one of our sister hens is in the hospital. she has been in since 6/17/11 she should be there till Saturday.
she had a stroke and a by pass. please help me cheer her up and show what true farm girl sisters are about!

things are surely doing better... she has pleanty of dr's apts this up coming week! she is really doing better! so much so that she made 30 jars of blue berry jam the other day. she is too funny! thank you all for your good thoughts & prayers. and kate, we both can't wait to see you again at our up coming meeting.

she is back out! she has to go to the retna specialist on Thursday, and have a needle put in her eye....ouch! but it looks like things are going to get better.

she is back in the hospital. she came over yesterday for tea (this is our routine tea 2 times a day on average)she said don't get excited mut my other eye is doing it. the first time as well as this time she said her vision was funny. she discribed it as milky or fan like seeing more than one (eg in stead of seeing one staneless stove she saw 5 or 6 spread out) i said we have to go to the hospital, the first time she really gave me a hard time. yesterday when this happened, I said you have to go to the hospital and get looked at. she she got in the car! last time she promised me she would not give me a hard time again. thank you all so much. I figured i should give you all the update!
i will let you all know how she is doing.

thank you all so much!!!
mom had gotten so many cards in the mail while i was on the phone with her and she started to cry. she said but they don't even know me! you all are the most wonderful people, and it is true what they say about a farm girl it is a condition of the heart. I would love to see an area in the general chat form for people who are going through a hard time to be able to send them a card or a little pick me up. we have all been there and it would be great to beable to lift someones sprits like you all did for my mother in law. you have no idear what this did for her, it picked up her sprits so much! and the prayers did work. Prayer is a wonderful thing.
