What sites do you gals like for blog hosting? I'm thinking of getting one going to help motivate myself, or maybe a cheapie website for an online shop?

Actually blogger is completely customizable. Granted you may have to learn a bit of XML. But, if you go to edit HTML you are completely in charge of every thing on your blog, and can write in any HTML or XML (depending on the version of blogger you choose to use, personally I just switched over to the newest version cause the classic-the oldest version, was no longer supporting the archives how I wanted. It would show them, just not how I wanted to. I can see why because before they updated from the classic, they gave you a second page just for archives, they no longer do that.). I was really hesitant about learning XML (I didn't have to learn much though to customize my blog) but once I went ahead and did it, it's not been bad. And personally I've been able to completely and totally customize it.

I use blogger.

It helps if you don't stay logged in and sign in everytime you go to it. I do this now and never have any problems.

I also use Bloggger.

Grace, I have found that I cannot always post comments too. What I did discover is that I have difficulties when using Firefox as a browser but can post comments using Internet Explorer :)

I use bloggerspot and have done well with it because I really am not great at computer things. Right now I am having a problem trying to place comments on other bloggerspot posting. Not really understanding why and would love to get this handle but I am sure it is me not the site.

Any suggestions ladies??

I use blogger, but, if given the chance for a do-over, I Would've gone with wordpress. Wordpress has more options available for customization.

yup I'm a blogger fan too. Of course I've been using them for 10 years now and really never did care for the others I tried, although I never really gave them much of a try.
