Today only! I've been looking for a laptop because ours was stolen out of our car at the grocery and had been doing some comparison shopping on QVC, but got an email today that ALL DAY Monday, anything and everything is available for their 5 easy pay pmnts. For those familiar with QVC, this is such a deal--not only did I get the laptop, I also bought myself some much needed makeup and my philosophy cleansers. For those not familiar, if you have a major credit or debit card, you simply pay a monthly payment, much like layaway, except you get your merchandise immediately.

Yes...I have ordered from them on occasion! Always been happy with each purchase...and they are quick to exchange any item that may not fit. The last thing I got was an air purifier...LOVE IT.

I guess, Alee. It came from New Jersey to PA, then to Lexington and on the truck this a.m. I'm excited, how ever it got here!

@Caron--they really are wonderful. I'd like to have a few more, actually. But I'm "shopped out" for the month, so maybe next month :) And guess what?! My husband just called and said the laptop had already arrived!!! Ordered on Monday, at our doorstep on Wednesday, with regular standard shipping. Amazing.

Jonni, aren't those candles great? I have some in my bathroom and in the bedroom. Makes each room so pretty and cozy plus I don't have to worry about my cat setting her tail on fire. I just love the look of them!

I was good and bought nothing today, lol! Thats too bad Holly, I have been shopping with them on/off for over 20 years and they have always done well by me, and if anything was goofed they quickly took care of it. Jen... i so agree with your acronym!

HA How ironic.
I am sitting here working & I hear the UPS truck. I knew I hadn't ordered anything, he was going to my neighbors, but I still got a honk, wave & a gleaming smile. For free...

I have some of those candles, Caron! My mother bought me a set for Christmas--they have an aran braid, because I like to knit, and each and every time the tornado sirens go off, I put them (along with a flashlight and other necessities) into my disaster basket and off we go to the basement. I love that they have timers so they're on when I come home in the evening--made the house seem so warm and cozy during this long winter and dreary spring. With a 2 year old, they've been a Godsend because she's "Miss Grabby Hands" and they're not hot!

I agree you have to be very careful because their job is to sell you the item and they can make it sound so good. But for me, being able to order and have it delivered to my house is sometimes a good deal. Either I would have to drive quite a distance or it just is not anywhere in my area at all. So far I have enjoyed the items I have purchased from them, for instance they sell flameless candles which were wonderful to have here during the last hurricane. They put out plenty of light but no heat and it was already so hot, I was so happy I had ordered some of them!
Money-wise I set myself a limit per month on what I can spend on QVC or any store (and often don't use it all) but otherwise that helps prevent impulse purchases.

Yeah, Jen...I allowed myself a treat and the laptop and then I had to back away from the webpage. VERY easy to think, "I so need this!" I don't treat myself often, though, and breaking it down into payments, I don't feel NEARLY as guilty!!!!

Yeah, Lis, it's never a bad thing when the UPS guy is a cutie!

HA HA Jen
I love QVC too,
& like Jonni says, you can't beat the no driving, esp when the UPS driver is cute too!

unfortunately to me, QVC stands for Quickly Vanishing Cash :( I try to stay away because its too easy to get sucked into the deal of the day.

Sorry, Holly--I've never had that experience. I'm sure that might have turned me off, as well. But, since I ordered on line, I could see all my totals and shipping prices laid out. No problems there and no inflated shipping costs like other places I've shopped ($7.95 for a finger puppet?)

I got burned by QVC. They offered a GREAT deal on my Bare Escentuals make-up and I ordered as fast as my finger could dial. However, they shipped each little pot separately, so all in all, I could have ordered it from Bare Minerals or Sephora for the regular price by the time I figured in all the shipping. They have great deals, but that shipping incident frightnened me away - probably for good.

Well, Caron, that's awesome! I'm excited for you! I also looked at the Bobbi Brown items--couldn't decide on a color for me, though, so I went with the Bare Essentials. I do really love the easy pay options, because we really don't use credit cards anymore and this is just like layaway, only you get your merchandies asap. I've always kindof poked fun at my mom for shopping QVC, but honestly, they have everything I could possible want and the prices are alwasy reasonable, if not better than in store, AND, I don't have to drive anywhere

O.K. I'll confess I bought some things on QVC during the 5 easy pay day! My big splurge in life is I love makeup, especially Bobbi Brown makeup. Don't care about jewely, wear jeans and a T-shirt almost every day, have all the kitchen items I need.So I bought a few makeup items for my myself and the easy pay helped!
