Grace,
I have never seen such a book. It is so beautiful with such a great purpose.

I hope you get things back to normal after the damage from the weather. I just cringe watching the news this year. It is hard to imagine what is in store for us next.

Marcy thank you so much for the kind words about my yarn - do you have a picture of the cowl?? I love seeing what the talented folks do with what I make - I bet it is incredible.

Jeannie - although it has put more work on this overworked gal I know I am still blessed because not a single animal was hurt and I remind myself that it is only things!! Still I thought I had a deal with Mother Nature - I be kind and caring to her and she does the same with me - I guess there must have been fine print to that contract.

Kathie - I designed these books for a dear friend who passed away. She was the leader of a large seed swaping, wild foods lover and garden guru here in Colorado several years ago and we wanted to have something to give to all those who came to the funeral. So I put my thinking cap on and came up with these books.. They where wonderfully received and since then have had a couple of flower shops carry them too. They represent my love of gardening and using up all the things I love to collect. I really should make some more and put them up for sale on my blog and on line stores. Now I just have to find somewhere to squeeze it on the long list of things to get done.

Again, thank you for your sweet words ladies - You have no idea how much it means to me...

Wow! A handmade book. With little pockets??? That's the most wonderful thing I've seen/heard of in a long time.

Very pretty! I love Grace's yarns. She has beautiful things and does such lovely work. I just knitted a cowl with one of her lovely yarns and as soon as it get's cooler, it's going to be one of the first things I use.

Grace, what a sweet story about the deer and your goats! How great the picture is. You do lovely work. I'm sorry to hear you're having such a hard time of it right now. I'm sure your lovely gift means all the more to Nancy Jo, because of it.
Nancy-Jo, what a lovely picture.

Sherrye please email me when you can so we can talk - Life is just too much sometimes and I want to help if I can.

Connie that you so much for your sweet words - the goats and deer have such a special bond - I love that she now brings her own baby here but she has also brought many a stray to live here in saftey... Your so right I also was so lucky that with this huge barn being picked up and thrown into another pasture that a single animal was not lost or hurt. Still struggling to find someone to put this back together - many of the companies out here have gone under so Friday I spent they day off the farm trying to gether information and such - not much luck but I treated myself to chinesse food which I had not done for three years - very tasty and tons of leftovers for the coming weekend of hard work...

Againl, thank you for such kind words about my creations..

Nancy that is a beautiful photo of Graces beautiful work. Grace I love your color choices and the sheep greeting the deer photo is priceless. The back story about them is heartwarming. I hated to hear about your damages. We had two really large old trees fall at two different places and were lucky enough not to have any structural damage. But it is all around us. I hope none of you or your animals were hurt.

Oh Debbie I am sorry that I did not see your question - working without my glasses...

That is two of my sweet Angora Billies who where two years old and had an orphaned deer come into their pasture. I took pictures of them greeting the sweet scared girl and they then adopted her - she slept in the barn with them, they shared they hay with her and now three years later she brings her baby boy to meet them this year. I have the best here at the farm - don't you just love that picture.

I am so glad you like it Nancy Jo - I again regret the delay in getting it out to you but life has thrown some curve balls here.

The book I have made for those who love to garden - it is a seed saver book and was designed for a seed saving group to gets together each year to swap organic heriloom seeds but you could use it also to place fabric swatches, yarn or thread snippets in so when you go to the store you have exactly what you need with you..

Again, Nancy Jo thank you so much for giving me my first win on something - I sure needed that because the same day I won was the same day all heck broke loose here with the winds and distroyed my barn, fence and also my roof to the house... You where my silver lining to a very bad day...

Blessings and Hugs
