How do I get the list of blogs with pictures to go down the side of my blog like I see are so many other blogs?

Nancy,
From your Design or Layout page it should have a screen titled Add and Arrange Page Elements. Find the Gadget that is your Blog List. Click 'Edit.' A new window will open that says Configure Blog List. Click on Add to List. You'll be able to check By URL's or Blogs I Follow. I added your's to mine by putting your URL in. Click Save and you're done.

Nancy, thank you so much for leaving your comments because even though I don't use Blogger, you gave me an idea to go look on my WordPress dashboard to decifer how I could restore my sidebar. You used the word, "Widget" and that jumped out to me on my dashboard. Voila! Everything is restored. Thank you, thank you, thank you. That has been worrying me for about 5 days!!

I'm not sure how blog list works, but I know blog frog if you put their widget on your page will automatically show you any other blog froggers that visit your page (and their blogs).

Thank you so much for writing this all down for me. But I must be stupid. I have the words blog list on my site, but can't figure out how to get the blogs over there. I thought whoever came to visit my blog would then be there. Its a wonder I can turn the computer on.

Nancy,
Since you are on Blogger, from your Dashboard click on the Design tab then click on the Layout tab. You'll want to select Add a Gadget. A list of gadgets will open in a new window and you can select Blog List. You'll be able to add the blogs you read and their URL's from there. Select the area on your page you want the gadget placed. Save. And it should be on your blog. Hope this helps.
