Posted - May 16 2011 : 10:55:18 AM Wow I think this is the wettest spring we have ever had. But nothing like down south with the flooding, so I will stop fussing now. But is is a good day to read a book. I made cookies this morning and the usual housework. Got some yarn out to do some knitting. And I'm reading "WATER FOR ELEPHANTS". So far this is a really good book. I almost never go to the movies so wanted to see what this was about.

Posted - May 16 2011 : 5:46:57 PM Oh my gosh...we had sunny, not a cloud in the sky and mid 60s. We have been waiting and waiting for spring to come and it has finally arrived. I weeded and mulched 3 flower beds when I finished work, then DH and I went for a 2 1/2 mile walk while DD was at soccer practice. I am SO ready for summer, but first have to put sheets on the garden....low of 34 tonight and I don't want to take chances...

Posted - May 16 2011 : 2:41:16 PM I read Water for Elephants and really liked it. Heard that the movie isn't as good, but that's usually the case. Hope you enjoy it! |
