If it were not for some of the teachers that I crossed paths with in my young life I would not be the woman I am today. I was raised and schooled by nuns who were wonderful teachers, in my teenage years it was the lay teachers that cared and took me under their wings. I thank them with all my heart for caring, and I thank all of you, teachers are a special breed and I honor all of you this week.
