Posted - May 04 2011 : 4:30:27 PM I just had to share this with all of you. I met 2 fairly new Farm girls in Colorado Springs today at Cracker Barrel, one of them was our Farm girl of the Month for May Erica Harner and the other was Jen Fulks. Now we had lunch then we just had to go to the gift shop. Well, look what we found, Chickens and so we each had to have one. Jen went and got the manager and he came out and took a picture of us. I think it turned out perfect, we are all laughing and having a wonderful time. We left our worries and problems behind for a few hours and just had fun. Erica is sending her hubby off to Afghanistan in June, Jen had just sent her hubby off for a couple of weeks and I had just sent mine off for 5 months. It was wonderful to be with farm girls that are going through what I am going through, I am not so sad now. We have more pictures which I will post later but y'all just had to see this one. Jen is on the left, me Debbie in the middle and Erica on the right. I can not wait to meet with them again I had so much fun. Love Ya Farm girl Sisters. Farm girl Hugs, Debbie

Posted - May 04 2011 : 4:53:29 PM Debbie, that is the cutest picture ever of us...mine didn't turn out like that. I too had the bestest day. Below are some photos that I took. It was a joy to share in a truly gorgeous day (as you can tell from my picture of our grand Pikes Peak) with 2 fabulous woman!!! We had never met before, and I can truly say, I have made 2 new friends for life. The other picture is of Debbie, myself and Jen in front of the fireplace at Cracker Barrel. I antiqued the picture to give it a vintage feel..hehehe:) And there is a picture of a sweet gift from Debbie to Jen and I of a bee, a bee happy treasure box and a handmade (by Debbie) washcloth...love it so much ...thank you:) And finally another picture of treasures from thrifting....plus my chicken posing too. It was a great day with lots of good food, great company, laughter and bonding. I am so blessed to have met all of you....and look forward to being friends for many years. Big Farmgirl Hugs, Erica |
