....again...we've had nothing but rain and tornados for over a week in Southern Indiana. The Muscatatuck River below my house has flooded in two different directions. I have to drive all the way thru the next town and back again just to take my son to school. But I'm sure tomorrow there will be no school, I'll be surprised if there is. It's pouring right now and has been all night and all day yesterday and expecting the same all day today and tonight. In our small town the school is almost in the country so it's just a short distance away...maybe 8 minutes. So driving around for over a week to get him to school with these gas prices I'm thinking about hitching the wagon up lol. The storms coming in today are expecting F2 to F3 tornados and we just had a tornado that went right past the house the other night, a lot of damage around and the cemetery was in bad shape and that was an F0 so I'm very concerned about the weather today. Just praying the Lord spares us and everyone else around. I love Spring but not this weather. Hope everyone else is having sunshine.

~~Blessings, Mikki Jo

Amen Grace...thanks so much to all of you and I pray everyone else is safe too. Some of the reports coming in has been terrible, loss of life and homes. God bless...I forget the scripture reference but it's in the old testament. "God has His way in the whirlwind and the storm and the clouds are the dust of his feet"...brings a beautiuful vision of hope. Stay safe everyone and prayers for everyone in the path of these storms. Love you ladies so much!

I have placed you in my prayers and will tell the prayer circle to do the same - it is so hard because someone will be getting the bad weather and you don't want anyone to suffer this horror. This is the time when one feels so small but know that others have your surrounded with love.

Sigh.. We are in the middle of it again today. Trees down, power out to thousands, (not us thank goodness) flooding, and more storms with potential for tornados on the way. Every tree looks like a threat to me after the last few days! We still have 4 huge maples in the front yard and the 1/2 a maple left from day before yesterdays storm. I think I'll bed down downstairs tonight. I'm tired of having to get up in the middle of the night and move.
Ya'll stay safe!

We are getting round 3 here soon. Coming up from Stevenson and Ft. Payne, Alabama. Pretty nasty. My power has went off a few times in the past 1/2 hour. Lots of thunder. It might be going more towards Chatt. again. They have had this all day today.

Yes, it's heading onwards and upwards, Mikki. And they are very fast. I hope y'all stay safe too.

We just got some here. Power is out all over. Trees down and buildings torn up. A tree fell almost on my DD's house. It got the gutter near the kitchen. Schools are getting out now. My granddaughter's elementary school has some damage but kids are ok. The other grandma is going to get those 2 grands from Dade Co. And they say this is just the beginning of more later this afternoon into tonight. Even worse. My hubby's in Atlanta right now getting a Fedx load from the airport heading to Tn. for later today where it's supposed to be bad too. So we aren't done with this storm yet.

I hope everyone is ok where ever you are. I am so glad it's daytime. And there is so much worse damage in Arkansas and Ms. I'm so glad schools are getting out early today. Be careful.

Praying for you Mikki.
The weather has been so brutal lately, I don't know what's going on. It seems like everytime I turn on the computer, another American city has been devastated by a tornado.
Please stay safe.
