If you want to see a wonderful love story... SEE THIS MOVIE! I've watched it three times now on NetFlix-

Wonderful movie about a mail order bride 1918 in a small Minnesota town.

The first time I saw it I felt very "connected" with the characters. I am from Swedish and German decent. My ancestors came over from the old country and settled in Chicago on my fathers side. But, my mothers people who were of Norwegian decent settled in Minnesota.

The story is poignant and I think, very well done. The beauty is in the simplicity. It is so refreshing stumbling upon a really good movie like this one...so glad you girls are going to watch it!

Wow, thanks Melody. That looks like such a great movie. Why is it all the good movies are never promoted?! All you see promotions for are tired, overdone movies. Just like Sherry, I'm heading over to netflix!

Happy to be a "Raggedy Ann" in a Barbie World!

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.
