I thought that maybe some of you Farmgirl moms with children at home might enjoy a fun drawing project that you can do with your kids. My children always enjoyed it and it's a chance to get silly. Step-by-step instructions are at the blog.

Thanks, Karen. We still haven't heard how our friends are in Japan and it bothers me.

I had the neatest thing happen tonight. A family of young children had tried the art project and shared the results with me tonight. Too cute. They were really, really creative. :-)

Thank you Mary Beth,
This looks like fun!

Also, I appreciate your moving tribute to those who are suffering in Japan.

Teresa, it's cold here too. The wind is blowing so hard you can't stand up for very long too. Can you believe that yesterday, in NW Oklahoma it snowed, while in SW OK it set an all time high since 1890 of 103 degrees!! Here in central OK it is 50 but the wind is so hard it feels colder. I hope you all have a grand time with your 'animals'!!

Mary Beth... I LOVE this project! What a neat thing to do during the chilly days of spring! We haven't seen any of those soft fluffy clouds for some time now..this is a perfect replacement! I am so excited for the childrent to come home so we can play! (I even want to start my own book!!)
Thanks for the great idea!
