Actually 2 bits of good news!! I've tried to get on when we first found out but everytime I posted it would get lost!

Okay, my very special first good news!! I'm going to be a grandma!!!! (first time grandma) and sooo excited! My son and daughter in law are due Nov. 1 (being the huge hunter my son is I'm wondering how they timed this! hee, hee!) So of course, please share any bits of grandma advice and of course all those wonderful things grandma needs at her house! (I already have a nice little stock of bibs, I just can't resist!)

My second part of good news...I have finally received the "okay" from the county to open my lil roadside shop (it's actually a shed that's getting a huge makeover!) I can't wait!! I'm still under some construction trying to get it all up on artfire, but eventually will be all set up under http://bluejeancountry.artfire.com - also I've just started bluejeancountry on facebook soooo...if you're on fb and hit "LIKE" under bluejeancountry you'll be automatically signed up for the May 17 spring giveaway. If you're not on fb, you can leave a message here and I'll add your name to the drawing! (eventually I'll also have it on my blog but I'm under construction all over right now!)

Thanks for letting me share my news! Hope everyone has a great St Pattys Day!!

hi Melissa! Congrats on all the good news! Your blog is pretty already even under construction.
I don't FB any longer, I'm on MJF so much, I don't have time for FB but would love to be entered in your drawing. I've added you to my favorites and look forward to watching your business take off.

Congratulations on both Melissa, I love spending time with my grands and the very best thing to have for them is loving arms and an empty lap!

Just checking in!! Thank you all for the grandma wishes! I've started my grandbaby thrifting now! My daughters bed (she's away at college) is so full of goodies! Business is moving forward also!! If the weather would just warm up a wee bit here so I could paint my market I would be thrilled!!! Hugs all:)

I know how you feel. My son & his wife are having my 1st biological grandson in June. I am so excited! I have 3 grandchildren who I get a lot, I just keep diapers, a few bottles & rice cereal for the little one's and building blocks & toys I got from the trift store or my 4 year old. We also do a lot of baking together. You have a little ways to go before that. Congratulations, Grandbabies are the best!

Hope all your days are Sunnydays.

Oh Melissa, I am so happy for you on both counts! I, too, am waiting to be a grandma, maybe later this summer when my son and his wife get settled to their new place in Florida.

I know that you have been waiting for that OK to sell your stuff, I somehow knew it would work out, good for you and let us know how it all goes!

I've got everyone entered in the spring giveaway! Thank you all! I'll keep checking back within the next month and keep adding anyone that would like:) For those that don't have facebook, in the next couple weeks I'll be working on my blog (construction must be done!) and making changes to follow Bluejeancountry on there! I'll pop back in when it's up and running! So busy these days but so much fun! Hugs!
