Okay, I do leave this house/animals to pursue a career and dress up/slap on some Lancome/put on fragrance. I have tried Coco Chanel Mademoiselle. I need a new summer fragrance, what do you suggest?? I want something light and summer, not anything heavy and overbearing.

Believe it or not I found a really nice scent at the Gap. It's a perfume oil and it's "Cassis". Fruity and fresh and dressy all at the same time, and it's an oil so it lasts forever.

I wear, and have worn the original Jessica McClintock since I was about 15. It smells like lily of the valley. MMMM. It makes Rob crazy!!

I second Libbie's vote for Amazing Grace by Philosophy. It is light and fresh.

I'm glad I could make you smile, Michele. I sure have lost my girliness lately!

I've always worn White Linen by Estee' Lauder...BUT I've just found a new favorite....it's called "Wonderful" by American Beauty sold in Kohls stores. It's light, fresh and clean. Perfect for Summer.

I'm not much of a girlie girl, but I sure do love my perfumes!!

My summer scent as of late has been sweat and manure. Perhaps I'm a girl in need of a night on the town.

On Sundays I spritz on a little "Night" -- my all-time favorite fragrance. On Mon -- Sat, I shower with one of the Soapmaven's soaps, and I love the fresh, subtle scent! My dh actually told me he likes the soaps better than a perfume, and before I started using Susan's soaps, he loved my perfume!

Muguet des Bois ( Lily of the Valley) by Coty. I used to wear it all the time when I was in high school. I haven't seen it on a shelf in years, but you can order it. Gosh, I haven't thought about that in forever!!

I have to say that I really like "Amazing Grace" by philosophy. It just smells clean to me...

XOXO, Libbie

my very best scent for ALL seasons is L'Air du Temps by Nina Ricci, I use the colonge except for very special occasions then its the perfume. I have a bottle of the perfume that I've had forever, it's expensive so I wear the cologne mostly. Some things you just can't skimp on! That colonge & my pink Dove soap are two things I won't be without.
