I am absent for long periods of time, but whenever I feel like I need a pick me up, I come here. Even if no one replies to my post, or if I don't see who I miss, (KYgurlsrbest) I still see women holding each other up and it's really great.

Trish - You are so right! I love this place too! It's wonderful to be able to talk to women like ourselves and to share our life stories that are good and bad, and certainly whenever you need a 'pick me Up' this is the place to go! |

Trish!!! It's Me, It's Me, "waving"...fka Kygurlsrbest :) Something happened with my id/password many months ago and I just started from scratch.
I've often wondered about you and hoped you weren't scattered in the wind, like little dandelion seeds.
Here's hoping you are well--how's that boy of yours? Violet just turned 2 yesterday, and we celebrated with family and close friends over spaghetti and meatballs and homemade lemon white chocolate cake.

Hi Trish - I feel the same way. I've been busy and unable to spend much fun time on the computer. I've been grumpy and out-of-sorts - the yard is a mess, the dogs are worse (oh the mud...), the house feels cluttered and messy, too much work, blah, blah, blah, etc, etc... But I finally had time today, and I feel so much better. What a wonderful thing this is...
And Debbie, I'm fairly new too - but I feel like I have so many new friends. Its fantastic.

I would just like to say that I am a NEW farmgirl and even us newbies feel like old friends. I have learned so much by just reading the posts and have even been inspired to try some new things. You all are so knowledgeable about so many things I think I could tackle just about anything because one of you would have some tips and tricks to get the task accomplished. Thanks for making even us NEWBIES feel welcome!
